All Tech Equity Miami designated projects are featured in a curated online directory of initiatives that are investment ready and align with one or more of the priority focus areas of increasing digital access, building the pipeline, creating tech pathways and accelerating digital transformation.
Racial equity, diversity and inclusion are essential components of a thriving tech ecosystem. We focus on funding efforts that are led by and in support of underrepresented groups including but not limited to BIPOC individuals, youth, LGBTQA+, women, persons with disabilities and those from low- to moderate-income backgrounds.
Visibility: Tech Equity Miami offers you a platform to connect your work with a captive audience of philanthropists and also a medium to share the story of your impact.
Community & Capital: Navigating the process of accessing much need financial investment can be both demanding and confusing process. That's why Tech Equity Miami seeks to simplify and streamline your strategy by connecting worthwhile initiatives funding opportunities.
Data: All projects report out on shared key performance indicators and gain access to critical data driven insights and play a contributory role in community level transformation.

Process
1: APPLY
Whether by partner referral or invitation, projects seek TEM designation by completing the online intake form
2: INTERNAL REVIEW
Our internal team conducts a preliminary risk and reputation assessment
3: INTERVIEW
Participate in an initial assessment interview to evaluate impact, fit and priority area alignment
4: REFERENCES
We externally vet candidate projects by performing up to three (3) reference checks
5: onboarding
Projects are accepted and added to the online portal and curated shortlists for select funding partners
