In this high-tech world, paper craft STEM kits and cardboard box cars won’t cut it. Low tech STEM kits won’t bring on the excitement required for girls to imagine themselves at the forefront of emerging tech. Add the huge tech and digital divide, the lack of minority female engineers/techies as role models, and the bad reputation of Math and STEM courses, it is no surprise that girls from lower socioeconomic backgrounds are at a huge disadvantage compared to their peers in the tech race.
Our STEM Glow Up Program aims to achieve three things in our STEM Workshops: (1) Expose our girls to high Tech STEM Kits; (2) expose our girls to minority STEM Female Role Models they can Emulate; and (3) provide mentorship to improve self-esteem, self-efficacy and development of a growth mindset towards making the grade for STEM.
Our 2022 to 2024 strategic plan involves implementing coding robotics, virtual reality, AI, and other emerging tech workshops with over 300 girls.

Impact
"This was an awesome event. My 11 year old participated and loved every bit of it from start to finish. She said, "Mommy, I now know what I want to study in college". Thank you for instilling in our young girls a love and interest in STEM. Please do more of these!!"
Current Metrics
We have mentored and impacted 250 girls in the last 2 years.
90% of our girls, clients and parents rate our program A+++.
After going through our workshops, 70% of participants state that they would consider a career in STEM, a 30 point increase compared to their perceptions before attending the workshops.
