Since 1995, Per Scholas has unlocked potential for individuals, employers, and communities. We prepare individuals traditionally underrepresented in IT for high-growth technology careers, by partnering with dynamic employers, from Fortune 500 companies to innovative startups, to build sustainable and diverse talent pipelines. To date, Per Scholas has helped more than 25,000 individuals in 24 cities get connected to careers with personal meaning, opportunities for advancement, and the wages needed to invest in their futures and that of their families.
Our holistic approach encompasses robust learner support, professional development, employer connections, and career acceleration services for two years post-graduation, including: Technical Training, Professional Development & Soft Skills; Learner Support via financial coaches and support managers; direct connections to employers; and opportunities for upskilling for alumni.

We serve low- to moderate-income (80% or less of the Area Median Income) adults (ages 18+) in the Miami-Dade area.
Funding Goal
We are seeking $4M over 4 years to launch a Per Scholas campus in Miami/South Florida;
Impact Goal
Prepare approximately 500 diverse, un-/under- employed adult residents of the Miami-Dade region to launch high-growth technology careers within the first four years of operation.
