Women Voice Network's (WVN) goal is to support community integration by offering training for clients to become financially independent through employment.
WVN teaches life skills, computer, sales, social media marketing, and job training for survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and other socio-economic challenges. Participants receive the resources, education, and critical-thinking skills training necessary to secure meaningful and gainful employment, as well as increased skills, confidence, and access to digital resources, including their own laptop complete with Microsoft Office licenses. Through this dynamic model, we provide hands-on dual-language (English & Spanish) instruction and regular individual check-ins with participants and teaching staff to ensure that all participants receive the instruction and support they need.
Many participants have long histories of abuse, and some have also had touchpoints with the criminal justice system. These experiences, combined with physical, emotional, and daily challenges highlight the need for support resources for these individuals, including and especially in regards to employment and financial wellbeing. WVN emphasizes public well-being, community safety strategies, and the integration of assistance, resources, and support to help survivors reach financial independence. Proudly, graduates of the program re-integrate into their communities with increased confidence, expanded networks, and digital literacy which they apply to individual employment or through building their own businesses.

We are seeking $75,000 to provide 75 students with computers, sales, social media, and Microsoft Office skills to secure employment.
Impact Goal
This project aims to serve over 300 survivors per year in South Florida and provide the courses in Spanish and English.
